Brent King is a Professional Engineer, inventor, and co-owner of a Canadian medical device company, Tenet Medical Engineering, a Smith & Nephew Company. He holds a US patent for a device used in operating theatres worldwide. He is still involved with his alma mater, The University of Calgary, and regularly speaks to engineering students there about product design and entrepreneurship.
In both his professional and personal life, Brent is energized by a challenge and has always been driven to find solutions to problems. A serial philanthropist, Brent is continually looking for new ways to contribute to the community. In 2009 year Brent started the Cross Canada Underwear Drive, GotGinch, and has been overwhelmed by the support and encouragement he’s received from the community.
Brent resides in Calgary with his wife and son, he enjoys spending time with his family, snowboarding, dirt biking, and listening to live music.
Robb Price is the founder of DeliverGood.org, which matches charities and non-profits who need stuff with people and companies who have stuff.
In 2003, Robb and two partners started a PR and marketing firm, Extend Marketing, in Calgary and took the unique approach of focusing on community investment. The firm worked with charities nationally and their relationships with donors and their communities. Extend Marketing became nationally recognized and won the 2005 Alberta Business of The Year award from the Canadian Youth Business Foundation. In 2006 Extend was sold to an international PR firm.
Robb is passionate about entrepreneurship and philanthropy and is always seeking ways to marry the two through social entrepreneurship, which led to the development of DeliverGood.org.
Robb resides in Calgary with his wife and two young children. He enjoys spending time with his family, playing guitar, golfing, and playing hockey. He is also a big brother with Big Brothers and Big Sisters.
